"No. Just wondering why is your fur glossier than mine." Starshadow lied and smiled playfully. She was actually thinking on where to slag his face if she had a chance.

Sonar sighed and shook his head.
"I suggest that you get some rest and regain your strengh." He said calmly.
He was in no mood to cross words with her.

Glowstick passed another cup of Energon to Sonar, then closed the fuel container putting it away in the bench, he sat down picking up the Electrolaser he was working on to tweak the settings as he responded to Steelclaw Sort of. At that point, we were split up into two search parties. At the time, we didn't know what had happened to the Axalon. We attempted to find answers, but the range was so far off and radio communications were vastly limited. If it wasn't for that mountain you guys blew up, we wouldn't of detected anyone. Things broke down after the Maximals built their base and started jamming our radar waves. So while we were searching at the time, that turret happened to shoot me. After we realized they only attacked in robot mode, I had a party go out to search for those things. From what I could tell, they were around the Maximal base, so I assume they set up camp there intentionally.

He then glanced outside watching Frilla, his optic shifting as he notices a Blue ghost firefly floating past her. One of his tentacles pointed up slightly, the end activating a cluster of photophores to glow in his typical bluish glow, the insect floating in slowly landing on the end of the tentacle. He glanced noticing the creature Hm.. Alot of creatures on this planet communicate using light.. that's interesting..

He then held up the gun There.. it's done. Not sure how accurate it's going to be, specially using one of my spare laser set ups on manual, but with the increased bloom effect, the shot should be fairly large.. Well, I better move the Cargo. You can play with this if you want, but don't discharge any firearms.. ANY of you. You'll just draw the Maximal's attention. he then passed the gun to Steelclaw as he stepped outside, then climbed up onto the roof.

Moments later he came down carrying the Stasis pod down, he stopped for a moment glancing at the window of the pod Huh..another female. A looker too.. He always did find it strange how many females were on this planet, for the cybertronian race the idea of gender was not really required for making new lifeforms, so females tended to be a bit more rare. Probably why they did so well in certain publications and entertainment.

Icebreaker floated back from Orcariner some as he noticed his eyes open "Great, your back online. I was worried for a bit the damage was too much for internal repairs to handle. We're way too far away to take you to a CR chamber, though I'm not fairing much better.. The Predacons got the pod, Valkyrie managed to get the other pod so they have a new recruit, they're going to search for the Predacons. So.. I guess the only good news I have is that we're out of that blasted desert?" he then stated.

He moved into the craft, attaching the stasis pod to the ceiling.

Sonar listening to Glowstick then looked down at the fox that was still out cold beside him.

"Some creatures use low frequency sound to communicate with each other." Sonar said looking up for a moment.

Glowstick shuddered as Sonar mentioned low frequency sound Yes.. I know that all too well. It's more common underwater.. Orcariner's kind.. the whales.. He's baby sized compared to some of those monsters. I've even seen some up to 100 feet in length.. They all use echo location and low frequency sound to communicate. I sometimes have to send out certain noise frequencies of my own to confuse the creatures when doing work in the water, the beasts send out sonic blasts so hard they feel like they're trying to jar something loose sometimes.. and they often eat creatures around our size while working in groups..

As for the gun.. well.. sort of. Even if the plasma bloom from the laser guides the electric blast, aiming a bolt of lightning is far from the same as a normal gun. There is some.. randomness in it. The laser could end up hitting the target's chest, while the electricity randomly strikes a shoulder or their face, or multiple points of contact..

I wouldn't call it a pinpoint weapon, more of area of effect. In any case, after each shot it'll require a short recharge for the capacitors to fill up and fire again. That's when the green light will blink. When the red light goes out, you'll have to change the chemical cartridge for the laser.

Glowstick then sat down in the pilot seat once again, glancing at the radar, he then put his tentacles behind his head leaning back into the chair.

Starshadow chuckled at Sonar's response. Since when did you show such concern? she thought and smiled.

The cat decided to mess around with him so she licked his face and purred.

There was a small part of him that liked her, but he would never admit it, not even to himself. But his hatered of her won out when she licked his face. Growling slightly he picked up the fox and walked to the other side of the room and sat down.

"I also use echo location seeing how i'm going blind, but echo's can also be used as a weapon, if powerful enough it can kill, i used a lighter sonic blast it to knock out this fox." Sonar said.

Starshadow smirked as she could see Sonar irritated. She wagged her tail and purred.

"I'm being a public hazard to you, right?" she smirked at him.

He was in no mood for her antics, so he chose to ignore her. And wondered why it was taking so long to get back to shore!

Steelclaw thought for a moment about protesting to Sonar's theory, but then he relaxed. The bat probably wanted him to say something, and at any rate, what did it matter which of the two of them was correct? Just as long as they could both hit their targets.

Steelclaw then took the gun which Glowstick handed to him, and actually found it a bit lighter than he expected. It wouldn't be very hard getting it to the roof. But he was curious...

"Did you say this fires electric charges?" he asked Glowstick. "Is that going to be effective shooting into the water?"

He pushed the alien turrets discussion to the back of his processor. He could only ask about one subject at a time, after all.

Frilla eventually retruend to the Levianthn but was only listening for now since she had lost track fo the conversation. Returning to the seat she had sat in before she went back to looking at her notepad and began to listen to what they were talking about now.

Glowstick nodded It should discharge into the water, particularly salt water which is a even better conductor. Since it's so light, probably should use it as a handheld weapon for now. he then flipped a switch as the back of the transport closed. Now then.. if our coffee break is over.. What's our destination? Head straight back to the Darksyde? We could always plan a trip for the alien turrets when the maximals arn't around.. Megatron would love to survey something like that I'm certain.. though I doubt he'd want to ride in this bucket.. Probably do some improvements too.. specially for that area.. it has extremely dense foliage, rivers, and deep mud.

"No.. I'll handle things here.. It's five against three.. or maybe less. I'm not sure what sort of damage Orcariner may have done to them. Just be careful and keep tabs of where they may be going so we can follow.

"Alright. Just don't push yourselves to hard. We'll try to stop them, or slow them down if stopping them is to much. I'll keep you posted on our target's trajectory by sending out a wide spectrum pulse beacon when we engage them. Be sure to follow in case the bogeys equipped their craft with good anti-air. Valkyrie out."

The Predacons would probably expect a Maximal assault from the air, so keeping it a secret was a waste of valuable energon.
First they'd need to track their targets down, which won't be to challenging seeing as there are at least 2 of the 3 flyers, including herself, could find them by scanning the horizon from high altitude.
The new Maximal arrival seem to have a few tricks she could show when engaging the Predacons from the sky. She was eager to witness and store the information from observing her when the time comes.

"Alright. Our plan is simple, first we stay far away enough from their craft till we determined what weaponry they have ready, then we'll attack them from a far enough distance to determine a safe zone to fall back to, if we aren't able to punch through their defenses. We are far away from home base, and cant afford to lose any of our teammates. The captured Maximal, might already be reprogrammed. But it's still our mandate to free him or her from Predacon hands. Lets hit the skies!"

Valkyrie spread her large wings and took flight, aiming for high altitude, and changed course towards the location Icebreaker said he thought the Predacons headed towards.

"If you want it to just be a hand-held weapon, then I'll just leave it in here for now. It'd allow us more versatility for it to not be stuck to the mounts up-top anyways," Steelclaw remarked. Then he downed the rest of the energon in his cup.

"Anyways, I think we should head back like you're saying. I don't want to give the Maximals any chances to try taking this protoform- you know they're not going to quit. I can't say I blame 'em, but I'm not in the mood to sit around and discuss it with them."

Glowstick nodded in agreement with Steelclaw, then grasped the controls of the Leviathan. He backed the transport out of the woods carefully, then had it turn as he backed out of the woods. The transport rolled forward, then started to pick up speed heading towards the shore. As the vehicle picked up speed, Glowstick's optics shifted noticing two Maximal signatures near the coast Looks like your friends managed to make it to the water.. But they wont be doing anything this time!! he then stated, pulling a lever at the side of the throttle control, he then increased the throttle as the craft transformed with a spray of rocket thrust coming from under it and out the back, it lifted high into the air in an arching jump over the shore land and water.


As the aircraft jumped the two Maximals, Icebreaker looked up with shock "Wha the?!" he stated quickly, watching as the large vehicle came out of no where and just jumped over them.

The transport started to then reduce in speed a bit, but strangely managed to maintain the higher altitude and fuel consumption from the increased bank of energon fuel cells, though the aircraft did suffer some issues from handling in the higher air. Glowstick made some mental notes to himself, rather surprised the craft could achieve this much.

Icebreaker placed his fin against his head sending out a radio message Icebreaker to Valkyrie, the Predacons just flew by us at the shore. I thought that thing was broken but it seems they repaired it to make it flight worthy again! It's making a beeline straight to the Predbase!
