Beast Mode!

Well, there's probably a thread like this buried deep in the dark recesses of the forum vaults, however Necromancy is frowned upon in most circles and with a whole bunch of new protoforms having come online maybe this will be slightly refreshing.

So... what would your Beast Wars character for your screen name be/look like?

After thinking about this for a bit, I have come up with my compilation:

although OOP, Dragon Megs, Depth Charge and Rampage were all very tempting because of their sheer raw power, I wanted to base it a bit more on my physique/fighting style/personality. So I have settled on Silverbolt's fuzor mode. I would have aspects of it done in gunmetal to give it a slightly darker edge, but still having lots of silver and gold as well. The wings would remain the same, however I would say they are made of nanites which can reconfigure themselves into either wing mode or into a cape/trench coat at a mental command. Wings are cool, but make getting through narrow paths and sneaking around a little tricky I would have a red Maximal symbol on the right shoulder to match my own tattoo and I would have a force field projector built into the right wrist. When activated, I projects out into a red Maximal symbol shield (in a very Captain America esque way). Feathers can be used as swords and explosives and Silverbolt did and I may add retractable claws in the wrists because I've always loved Wolverine

So how would you look?

I'm a bit unsure of what you're trying to ask, so if my answer is completely off target I'm really, really sorry lol.

My screenname was picked out of an "elfish" Lord of the Rings translator from my real name which turned out to be Alakdilion. I made that username for the sole purpose of playing Halo. Therefore, I'd probably go with Tigatron since his combat style is more in line with my gameplay.

Well, my name was definitively intended to reference a lion, so based solely on that I would be... well, you know. I like season one modes, so he'd probably look like Lio Junior. Only maybe a bit stronger (since Junior is supposed to be young. I'm young too. But my character wouldn't be, not according to the fan fiction that I've been writing. Now I think I've accidentally filled this parenthetical observation needlessly. Don't mind me. There are a lot of qualifiers to make). I can't quite conceive what Blazemane would look like Transmetal. Although, I'd bet it would have a lot to do with some sort of fiery color around his mane. Go figure. Maybe the rest of him would be silver. I don't know.

But if you're asking how I would look. Well, I'm nothing like a lion by demeanor, and I'm definitely not built like a linebacker, so it ain't exactly fitting. I'd be more like...

Well I think We all know what Dark looks like, well for the most part. A black wolf with a blood red scar under her eye, and 3 spikes near her tail. Though I guess she is a shape-shifter, but her wolf form is her favorite. *hugs all drawings of Darkshadow*

Okay, you guys, please don't think I'm nuts. Well I am, but not literally.

A few years ago I had this feeling I was being watched. Eventually, I would keep getting "visions" during the day of a grey wolf with red eyes watching me. These visions weren't actually seeing the wolf in persn or anything. but you know when you're daydreaming and you can 'see' what you're daydreaming until you become aware of RL again? IT was like that. I'd kinda blink and get a vision like that. And when I asked my inner self (yes, your inner self can answer you. Have you ever tried mentally looking at yourself in the eyes and reallllllly asking yourself "Where did you put your keys?" and a moment later remembered? That's what I mean.) what it was, I got the answer -

Dalgaroth.

I'm pretty sure that's the name of that wolf and it felt masculine to me. These "visions" lasted for only three days before it finally wandered off, but it was so powerful an experience I'll always remember it. o-o!

Oh yeah, and it wasn't a bad, demoic "I'm being watched! DX" it was more like an evaluation to see how Iwas doing at the time. And at the time, I was in the middle of 10th grade and further developing my identity and spirituality. That's partly why it hit me so hard. SometimesI think it was a hallucination but I remember my concern and my curiosity and I KNOW it wasn't.

As for my avatar over there, under my name, that's First Strike, a robot OC ho hasnt been developed yet but he/she's deadly. :/ I don't think that's me though. Unless ya want my evil side. :3

I WOULD say I'd be a barn owl, but then I also wanna be an Orca. :/ Wolf is....popular...and as much as I love wolves, I have a thing about not fitting in when I have the chance. I'm probabl the least rebellious person you would know, but I have my moments. . .

The owl is perfect for me because it flies and it's a hunter but it's fairly quiet, they keep to themselves, and blah. An Orca however is family oriented, powerful in a quiet way, good at working in groups, uses sound to communicate and I love music, intelligent, big (I'm kind of a heavy person, but I'm also strong. It matches.), when they need to be they are deadly hunters, but they're also cheery and playful, resourceful....

you know what? Slag flying. My robot mode can fly. I'm an Orca!

My robot mode would match my beast mode - black and white, sort of a Movieverse Barricade look 8D, with a smooth, mouthless head design and a jet pack, like OP's but one jet only, on my back. The jet pack wouldn't really be built for speed, but I'd be okay. I'd have broad shoulders and I'd be a Maximal, with my symbol .... I dunno....maybe on my dorsal fin in BM and on both my shoulders in RM. I wouldn't look particularly fembottish or feminine, but that's fine with me. My dorsal fin would split in two and they'd be on each shoulder. (Ohhh, my beast mode would be a male orca, btw, sicne that's the bigger and stronger of the species even though they have matriarchal hierarchies.)

Now, if I was Transmetal... I'd appreciate keeping the black and white design, but my animalesque, vehicular third form would be a hovering thing that moves like a helicopter. Think UNSC Pelican or Covenant Phantom from Halo.

That would be what some circles call and "animal" or "spirit" guide, and it's very cool that yours shared his name with you and is letting you use it too

My main beast mode is similar in that it's based off two of my animal guides, an american kestrel and a lion. The original fuzor design was known as "Lian" and was probably the first thing I ever tried to draw beyond stick figures. I've recently started working on a much more bad-aft version.

:'D Really? That's so very neat! I have several animal guides I know of by now, but Dalgaroth is the only one I know the name of for certain and I don't think 'he' sticks around as much. I think 'he' checks in on me though and that was the time 'he' made 'himself' apparent. I believe there is a white wolf who stays with me all the time, Nifu. It sounds right and 'she' feels more feminine, but I'm not sure if I made that one up, lol! xD I was thinking really hard about it at the time and that might have spoiled me getting the name for real. :/ Martrochs is also in doubt. I didn't have the same moment with 'him' as I did Dalgaroth, but the Dragon spirit's ALWAYS been around since 3rd grade and even before that. -A- Martrochs sounds right too, but neither of those were definitely given to me.

Dal that sounds pretty intense, and interesting.

Also. Back to the beast mode question. Dark was originally a jaguar, so I guess she was just a regular jaguar, until I realized that writing, well you can make stuff up. And hence I did with Darkshadow. I do believe my imagination got the best of me in some fics tho.

I took the name Phoenix from one half of a pair of siblings I created for a BW rpg I never ended up joining nearly 5 years ago.. The half-finished work of art for the character (maybe I'll eventually pick it up again and finish it) was going to depict a (you guessed it) Egyptian phoenix bird. The other half of the siblings was going to be Raven, once again named for her black raven alternative mode.

I had intended to join the rpg here with the Phoenix character, but ended up with a different character (but still a bird) instead.

I think it would be awesome to have a beats mode like Silverbolt, but Technorganic, so I could shapeshift organically, like Noble.

"Omircon" is myself, [did you know that Omicron is the name of the letter 'O' in the Greek alphabet?] And I would be a Komodo, or an iguana. As the former there's cyber vemon involved but that is is the drool <_<;;; As the later it's a nice long whip like tail and as both could make energon by sun basking.

'Ice Queen' is my alter ego, XD She's a Ragain 'dragon,' or a seeker.

I think I myself would rather be a Komodo, that way the annoying fighting part of the Beast wars would take forever to find me in the Kamodo islands.

I don't think I've ever seen myself to have a 'beast mode' per say...dunno it just never crossed my mind.

Those that know my earliest (and crappy) works of the character Lady Venom know how I wrote her.. I have this thing for long, sharp, claw like nails. I personally have always been fascinated with cyborg-like-ness. Metal pieces infused with human skin and what not for as long as I literally can remember, which is how that character came to be born.

As for the name! I have no idea where it came from... throughout school I had a couple of nicknames, most dealing with my nails (I used them in fights >.< and no I didn't 'sharpen' them or anything, I just have strong nails).

One nickname in high school I had dealt with my teeth. I have long, sharp canine teeth that I was born with, that earned me a few names (like freak or vampire)

I'm pretty sure the story changes each time I tell it, but that's honestly 'cause I can't remember how I really came to have it.

So..yea...

*laughs* Sorry for rambling..*shrugs* I've had the name (and character) since back before Y2K so...over ten years it's getting a little foggy in this old noggin' of mine.

It's a name that's stuck with me and evolved, and I'm thinking of having my name legally changed to 'Elvie' which is how you would spell it if you did it phonetically.
