BotCon Dinobot revealed

Unread post by Outtsyder »

The basis for BotCon Dinobot's body is Cybertron Longrack, with Armada Hoist's head. And for those wondering if they'll remember his old allegiance before the crash on Earth -- and if you had those fears, quit whining; these people know what they're doing -- yes, they did remember continuity... he's a Predacon.

*sniffles* I don't like it . . . *sighs* heck, I'm such a particular little fanchick, but somehow, I just can't see Dinobot looking like that.

Sorry, I'm disappointed.

Well, I'm not particularly fond of the character... I must agree with you. That mode is terrible. The original Longrack looked cool, though... at least because he's a tribute to Beast Wars Neo Longrack... and to me 'Racky is ^___^

I think the mold is nice, but just not Dinobot. Although after seeing Primal and the "prototype" Rattrap, I will still, more then likely get this set.

Personally, I think it's Dinobot far more than Crumplezone is Primal or Ransack is Rattrap. I mean, even when this mold first came out, tons of people were comparing it to Dinobot. It has the vehicle "head" on the chest; the face has an uncanny resemblance to the real Dinobot; the leg proportions are correct, and the toes look almost exactly the same as the "real" Dinobot's, but flatter; he has bulky arms; and on his left arm, the claws come together in the same manner as on his BW form. The only thing "not Dinobot" is the shovel-arm.
