Night-Hunter, if you already have an idea about the echo projection thing, then go ahead, but I got an idea about it from the ranks and wondering how sound could create a hologram. perhaps the hologram created is of sounds instead of a image. An example would be mimicking the voice of a enemy in order to lure another into a trap or the sounds of the explosion to do the same sort of effect. If you already have an idea like I said in the first sentence, go for it. If you don't, well, here's one.

Because there's a phrase for people who drive out into the middle of very flat, open country while being chased by Starscream in his F-22 form. "Sitting duck."

Glowstick:
Glowstick uses exactly 45 points for his statistics, and doesn’t seem overly powerful. If there is any one thing to worry about, it’s his weakness. The fact that he doesn’t camouflage as well as other squids indicates that he still does camouflage even to some extent- a feature which all of the other characters lack- making this a strong point of his, not a weak point. Now, I understand the speed problem he has in beast mode on land. Yes, this is slightly made up for by the fact he trumps most in water, but still, most fights don’t take place in water, so it seems a weakness. Still- he has jets. If he’s able to fly, then his land speed doesn’t seem like too much of a problem for him. And his weakness mentions that his jets are slower than others, but the fact he has jets at all alright gives him a mobile edge over a lot of the group.
Naturally, we shouldn’t begrudge him flight or camouflage- that’s all fine. Those are cool abilities. It’s just, these things don’t seem like a weakness to us. We think he needs a different weakness. On every other account, though, he seems solid and unique.
Rank: 6
Er.. on the subject of Camouflage.. that's not exactly accurate.(besides re-reading the weakness stating he doesn't have camouflage like normal ones) Normal Squids and Octopus and so on have the ability to change color, texture, and even illumination and so on.
Firefly squids.. can't. They're essentially a transparent blob with glowing blue spots. They can turn the spots off, make them work in weird sequences and distractions or lure in prey/mates/communicate with other squids but thats about it.

Blending in with the background though like a octopus, squid, or cuttlefish? Nope!
As for flight, it should be seen more like a blimp rather then a jet. Basically a internalized electric jet ski propulsion system being used to push air in a direction. Thus, slower then most fliers since it's just some jury rigged flight system which uses a internalized duct fan to direct air.
Well that's the explanation anyway.

Completely understandable. Regarding my character specifically, I was intending for him and Depth Charge to have an estranged relationship. The show obviously shows that ever since he began his hunt for Protoform X, the guy never sustained any real relationship with anyone. By no means would I have tried to interfere with DC's canon storyline by creating someone from his past. I will, however, seek permission from the member who plays his character (if my own audition doesn't go well lol).Blazemane wrote:We don’t think anyone should be allowed to dictate character interests/interactions between O.C. and cannon characters as a fact, unless the person playing the specific cannon in question agrees to it.

Ok for SS:
Could I change it to a better weakness? I think her weakness is not good enough. I'll get that done ASAP.
For Serpenteria:
That's only a back up incase if there is not enough preds. SS joined the maxies in season 3 (Optimal Situation). Then, Serpenteria arrives in Deep Metal where DC and Rampy were fighting.

I think I might have answered this sometime after you asked this question a while back, but I can't find proof, so I should definitely answer it again. Sorry for the lateness.Wintersong wrote:I forgot to mention this earlier but when the rules changes to only 2 characters per person it was after the results were made I do believe. I may be worng on this. BUt Witht hat I got rid of my third character Echowolf, do I still ahve ot play him with the results in already?
No, you don't have to use Echo Wolf. If you get three characters approved, it makes sense to use any two you want (that are on opposing sides. Since Snow Trix is a predacon, and Echo Wolf and Wintersong are Maximals, one of them is going to have to go. I'm assuming you want to not use Echo Wolf. But it's your choice. At any rate, the character limit/opposing sides rule might change later.
I re-read your weakness, and saw:NaitoKage wrote:Well that's the explanation anyway.
That makes sense. He holds a overall lack of respect for others and often just goofs off listening to his music or distracts himself with lights.
Anyways, the results are very nearly done for the new characters. Expect them soon.
I understand... you are, after all, a predacon.

We don’t actually have much to say this time around, because we didn’t really have any major problems with the characters submitted. The resulting brevity almost makes me feel cheap, but know that it means these characters were very well done.
Again, if you feel you were ranked inappropriately you are more than allowed to debate it.
New Moon:
Feralnight:
Interesting history, viable weakness, and overall solid character.
Rank: 6
Frilla:
The statistics are accurate, and her abilities and weapons are unique.
Rank: 4
NaitoKage:
Icebreaker:
Again, the weakness is logical and his survival based personality is intriguing.
Rank: 6
Phoenix:
(You said Moonshine was edited. She still looks good to me. I’d give her the same rank. [5])
Luna:
Luna finds the Maximals responsible for the destruction of Wildlife? Nice idea. As with the others, solid stats and good weakness.
Rank: 5
Taran Ulas:
Cerano:
The Maximals got a slightly insane ‘bot. That’s a cool touch. His weakness makes sense, and his statistics total 45.
Rank: 5
Una:
Angel: (revisited)
Interesting direction to take her character. She has been able to maintain an instinctive aversion to war (which is what I think you’re trying to get at) through a different method entirely. I just have one thing to say. If she was a top Maximal agent, shouldn’t her statistics be up higher (up to 45)? After all, shouldn’t an agent be intelligent, or strong, or durable?
It’s your choice, and the lower stats might just represent her unwillingness to carry on a war (which would be logical), but unless that’s the case, 37 total stats seems lower than what a Maximal agent would have.

Yeah, I wanted to still carry that sense of disgust at war. I was going to give her an extra boost but I decided against it because she is holding back her true potential if you get my drift?Una:
