Not even 25 yards from Xzuk his optics picked up on the light and he took off in the direction.
He stopped when he got a little closer and stared... the form of this creature was strange... almost transparent... and clearly not meant for land...
"Maximize!"
Xzuk once again, his head split apart into shoulders as he stood upright, he was about the same height as glowstick.
"Glad to see I'm not alone!"
He reached a hand forward in hopes of making a friend.

Glowstick ended his light show as he saw Xzuk, he descended from the sky as the smaller photophores on his transparent skin glowed in random sequence. Landing he held his tentacle out shaking Xzuk's hand Well that's one down at least. And here I thought I'd just end up building radio towers and sitting around ship bridge all day.
Glowstick broke the handshake as his body started to surge from energon buildup Ug, the radiation is a little rougher on the shore then in the water.. Beast mode! he then transformed to his squid mode sitting on the the ground, his large eyes looking towards Xzuk, looking a bit more creepy in his beast form.
So, any guesses to why we suddenly woke up on this rock?

Glowstick rubbed the front of his mantle between his eyes as if he was rubbing his chin Perhaps, my pod was destroyed in the sea's crushing depths.. but any of the others may have data logs or video from the ship.
I believe there's a method of tracking Stasis pods through radio beacons. Usually you'd do that sort of tracking with a ship, but I could probably tune my equipment to detect that sort of thing.Such a method would have to be done from the air to get above any interference.

Once Sonar found the place he was looking for he went back to find where his pod had landed. "Maybe i could use some of the parts to get me started, then i might be able to find the Predicon base." He said landed next to the stasis pod.
"Sonar, Terrorize!." Once back in his robot form he grabbed his net luancher and fired it at the pod. Once his pod was tied he activated his boosters and headed back to his cave.

Glowstick sighed From pirate radio stations to.. emergency radio stations..certainly a big change there.. Oh well, lets see what this rock has for fuel! He then moved his feeder tentacles firing them out towards a tree dragging himself over to it, his squid arms latching to the tree as he climbed it.
His large eyes observe a monkey in the trees as it eats some fruit, he then fired his feeder tentacle out to latch onto a fruit from the tree stuffing it into his beak to be shredded by his radula (Kind of a serrated tongue in mollusks) Huh.. the tongue is on the tentacles.. while the thing in the mouth is just used to primitively chew like a chainsaw conveyor belt?! .. what a twisted form I have obtained..

Over the southern sky, a meteor streaked across the horizon. As the animals below panicked, any human could have seen that there was something wrong with the meteor. One problem was that it was not a meteor. This "meteor" was in fact, a stasis pod with it's current passenger somewhat freaked out.
Just be calm. Just be calm. *Sniknnnnnnt* Please tell me that wasn't something valuable like... the brakes.
As the pod began to a fairly good rendition of a human tilt-a-whirl, it's occupant began to do a horrible rendition of a calm passenger aboard a plane. A plane that is about to slam into the Earth at somewhere way upwards of 200 miles per hour. Oh Fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag!
However luck, both good and bad, smiled in the cybertronian's direction and frowned at this narrator. The stasis pod slid for about 40 meters, slamming thru rocks, trees, and animal's body parts. When it's trip ended, it ended up in what would nicely called "the middle of nowhere."
The cybertronian inside looked at the scanner which showed the following:
Nearest cybertronian: 40 kliks
Designations: unknown
alternate modes: squid, and fox
ready to scan for alternate mode?
What kind of cybertronian would willingly choose such weak organic slag for beast mode?
No matter, the cybertronian chose to scan for a alt mode. When the scan was complete, he eagerly looked over his options hoping to escape this claustrophobia inducing pod. His options were

One of the lionesses, a old scarred brutal creature, tripped one of the gazelles right into the path of the stasis pod. The gazelle was 1 foot away from the pod when suddenly a tan maw reared out and snatched the gazelle's midsection in a bone-crushing bite.

For the inevitable question, yes, those are real prehistoric animals from Australia, I looked it up for one, the rest I know for being a prehistory nut. Land was in sight and Orcariner began to slow down his pace, readying himself. His scanners were still out of range from any Cybertron life form, and he had failed to find the stasis pod which presumably sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Assuming the protoform escaped the pod, he or she most likely would have made way to the nearest continent which just happened to be ahead. The Maximal kicked his tail and continued his swim towards the new land mass.

Glowstick pulled another fruit from the tree, then lowered it down to Xzuk It has a sweet acidic smell and flavor, kinda like Racing fuel but not.. trace minerals and vitamins in such things can be good for organic tissue as well as provide materials for internal repairs, and the acid mixed with certain metals can be used to give some electrical boosts to cybertronian components..but not on the level of oil or energon.
Glowstick then pointed at the monkey on the tree That's also edible.. but a bit too hairy for my system.. In anycase.. the high amounts of energon on this planet make it seem unstable, probably enough here to fuel a few wars over.. but if it's unstable then extracting it will be a pain only for the skilled to mine or refine
But that is why we have the ability to obtain energy from alternate fuel sources when main sources are an unstable situation. But now I'm just rambling about the basics of cybertronian survival tactics..

His optics made a swift zoom on the shooting star, and sure enough... It was definately another pod...
"We've got company... it's another stasis pod!"

Glowstick sent his feeder tentacles onto a branch, then swung releasing the branch and dropping into the ocean I'll find a river or something, worse comes to worse I'll just fly in after awhile and find you again.

Those organic filth break even easier than Maximal scum. thought Lineos as he started to shake his head rapidly in a attempt to rip the gazelle when he was interrupted by three loud roars. He stopped shaking the gazelle and looked to see two enraged lionesses and one even more enraged lion. Oh look, a dinner with a side to go with my side. This is certainly a lucky day. Now to decimate them. Lineos, Terrorize! thought Lineos as he tossed his prey up into the air as he transformed into his proper form. As the gazelle fell towards him, Lineos swiftly grabbed it by the back legs and head. Lineos then reared back and swiftly thrust his head forward as he ripped the gazelle in half, the panels protecting his neck transforming into a half frill with a guttural roar ripping from his throat.

No time for backup... if it is a Maximal protoform then I need to make contact.... But... I suppose.... That stealth before action keeps a bot alive...
Xzuk lowered his base and got lower to the ground trying to find the source of the roar when he entered a big patch of shrubbery and saw something that was at least three of his robot forms tall...
Predacon... oh great... Primus help me...
He held his position and awaited a break in the focus of the pred.. then he would retrieve backup and engage.... he needed the information and parts from that pod...
