Fan Comic by AllSparker Daniel Ross... for a TF movie part!

I don't know how many of you are familiar with Daniel "Mouth04" Ross, but he's a Moderator at the AllSpark Forums, a long-time TransFan, and an actor who's actually legitimately signed with the Screen Actors Guild. I met him at the OTFCC '04 in Chicago, and he and I got to perform a scene together during the Live Script Reading on Saturday night (Hacker and Dragonsflayme were there to see the show). Around that time, Mouth04 has been lobbying for a chance to audition for any role in the upcoming TF movie that's in pre-production right now.

Well, with the help of some friends of his, he's REALLY turning up the heat in grabbing the attention of the movie's producers, and it seems to be working. He's created a hilarious fan comic placing himself with several G1 characters during a movie shoot (as in, the Autobots are also actors in this movie shoot!

), and he's gotten positive responses from director Michael Bay, and producers Tom DeSanto and Don Murphy... and executive producer Steven Spielberg will be next!

Wow, that's REALLY cool. It's great to see a fan get so far and so noticed. Here's hoping all his efforts will pay of and he'll get a part. Heh, I just loved the plot of the comic. I work at a film facility and the telecine colourists get the raw footage just hours after its been shot, so they can colour grade it and send a report back to the D.O.P (Director of Photography). So I couldn't help but laugh when I imagined all my colleagues being brainwashed against Transformers, LOL! XD

Indeed, that is pretty cool. I'll be honest and say I didn't find it all that funny, but it was fun to flip through and it did bring a smile to my face, that much is certain.

There's no alternate link, I'm afraid. In fact, the original link doesn't work anymore, either. The whole comic was erased for some reason before I managed to see it. If and when the boards come back, his voice sample should still be there. He's making Bumblebee's voice there, and sounding pretty darn good.
