lol i see more girls than guys in this forum (not that thats a problem or anything)
so by the looks of it, more girls than guys like beast wars?

Personally I know more guys than girls that like Beast Wars, and Transformers in general. Just perhaps more girls get... obsessive, perhaps, about it. ^.^

Here's some factual clarification.

BW Int is said to be the largest BW-specific fan site on the 'Net... but it is not the only place where BW fans gather. There are tons of TF multi-generational communities out there with segments of BW fans, as well as multi-generational fans (like myself), and other online places involving people who like BW, but just aren't part of BW Int. Remember, being the largest site doesn't necessarily mean it's the ONLY one.

I know more guys than girls that are into Tfs as well. I hadn't really noticed how many females are here, though. LoL At another Tfs community I visit, there are only about seven girls aimlessly wandering around. The others are all guys. *shrugs*

Bwint.net seems to attract mostly girls. there are more females on the forums, more female fan fic writers and fan artists. however, that seems to be fairly unique tot his site, as Transformers in general has a larger male fanbase. One just has to go to Botcon to realize this (there were so FEW female TF fans there.) The bigger TFs sites have many more guys than girls. Smaller communities might lean to one gender more than the other, but overall I think Transformers has a mostly guy fanbase. I think there might be a stronger presence of girls on Bwint because it's a large fan fiction site and, in my experience, it's mostly girls who write fan fiction. I could be wrong, but I've read a LOT of BW fan fiction in my times, and it's mostly been written by females.
