What BW toy?

Unread post by Tigerhawk »

What Beast Wars toys do you think should have made it onto the show?

Mine:

Cybershark
Scavenger
TM Tigatron and Airazor right before they got sucked up
Retrax
Tripredacus
Magna Boss
TM Terrorsaur

Believe it or not, technically the Tripredacus trio actually did appear in the show, even if their designs weren't toy-accurate. The plan was for the Tripredacus Combiner team to appear as the Tripredacus Council, and in the original script draft for "The Agenda", the Generals were in fact mentioned by name: Ramhorn, Cicadacon and Seaclamp. However, with the other expenses on this episode already eating up the budget (i.e. animating Ravage and modeling new scene designs), there wasn't enough time and resources left to match up their toy designs identically. So Hasbro asked for the Generals to not be mentioned by name, but they retained the "Tripredacus Council" name.

As for other toys I wouldn't mind seeing in the show, I'd be pretty interested in seeing how Wolfang would have worked. And Cybershark, too; either his original body or his TM2 version.

Yeah I know Tripedacus kinda showed up but I was talking about actually going to Earth and fighting the Maximals.

I would also like to ask some of my favorites, Jawbreaker, Stinkbomb, Nightglider, Prowl, and Iguanus.

I don't know of many so the only one I can think of...

Jawbreaker... because... that's the only toy I have that wasn't on the show... and I think he'd be interesting.

Of course when I play with him he's a predicon! So I can't imagine what his personality would be like!

....YES I play with toys... SHUT UP DALE!

Spittor, Polar Claw, Sky Shadow, Air Hammer, and Scanvenger.

I also would have liked to see them incorporate the Bat Optimus Primal and Gator Megatron into the show, even if they had different identities.

I think the Mutants should have appeared and fought for Transmutate, would have made a good story.

From the first wave of transformers polar claw was a must to the show, also i think some characters like manterror or spittor might've worked, although manterror would be like a strange bootleg from tarantulas, they could have been allies or something like that.

From the second season basically I think they could have gotten more story out of fuzors, than just one maximal and one predacon. some I would like to see animated where: torca, bantor, air hammer, sky shadow, terragator.

Transmetals missed the oportunity of having scavenger or at least turning inferno into a scavenger version, also i think tigatron might look pretty cool if he was ever made into a transmetal(awfully they didn't even gave him the chance to survive the season) and obvoiusly change his model form of the one that cheetor was.

Transmetal II were actually too strange for me, although I must say scarem would have been quite a boost for predacon army as well as some other like prowl or iguanus could shift the story into a quite longer ans mor interesting one.

Mutants where a strange excuse for animal-animal transformers, sorry guys but what's the point of that, the essence of a transformer is not just transforming but transforming into robots! How could they have fought being just animals? i think that would be quite lame.

I think that manterror would'nt be as treacherous as tarantulas, but not as loyal as inferno.

Spittor would be very sarcastic as a predacon making snyde remarks but still obeying megs orders.

Iguanus would be slightly less loyal than scorponok.

As for cybershark,he would be like DC apart from the fact he's not feuding against anyone.

I think he would be more of a loner than DC because on his toy bio it says he doesn't even listen to DC who is in charge of him.
