Human-Transformer Series
Lost
World Pt. 1
Author’s note: Okay, this is the first story of my
Human-Transformer series. I’m hoping this series will turn out great. It has to
deal with some of my characters and one original character from Beast Wars. I
will introduce new people and give you descriptions of each. This is my first
try at writing a story that doesn’t really have to deal with the BW universe. It
takes place in the year 3050 on Earth. All related characters, except Megatron,
belong to me. Anyway, enough with the ramble. Enjoy the story!
She slowly raised her body off the ground. Gentle drips of water fell onto her face and arms. She opened her eyes and gasped at what she saw. Towering above her was the largest building she had ever seen. She could barely see the color, but she distinguished it as silvery black. She blinked her eyes a few times and turned around. She was in some type of urban city. Houses went for miles as well as more buildings. She didn’t see anyone on the streets, probably because it was raining.
She looked down at her hands. A small yelp of surprise echoed around her. Her hands are peach, light, and fleshy. She touched them carefully, and slowly went to feel her face. She encountered more flesh. She felt her hair, which was still his flaming trademark red. She wore strange garments of color. The top half barely covered her breasts and she wore long slender pants down to her ankles. Small white sneakers were hardly visible underneath the pants.
"Wh-what happened to me?" she choked. She looked into the silvery surface of the building beside her to see what she had become. She was no longer a female robot with blood red optics, but a slender human woman with deep ice blue eyes, flaming red hair, and light-colored skin. She had to stop herself from falling in shock. The rain continued to pour down. Her clothes were getting wet, but she did not care as she sat on the bench alone in a nearby park. She cupped her hands to her face and let tears fall down her cheeks.
A girl, no older than 19, noticed a sad looking woman slouched down on the bench. Who was this woman? She had never seen her before. She slowly ambled over to her and sat down beside her. "Excuse me, what are you doing out here in the rain?" she asked.
The redhead turned her head to the person who had addressed her. "I don’t know," she answered. "I don’t know anything. I’m lost."
The girl frowned. "You’re not lost. You’re in downtown Demlak."
"Where?"
"Demlak. It was built in the year 2054. I’ve lived here my whole life. Where are you from?"
"Not here," she sighed.
"What’s your name?"
The redhead thought a moment and realized that she couldn’t tell this human her real name. So she decided to call herself her old name. "My name is Venus," she replied.
"Oh. I’m Aquina," she said shaking Venus’s hand. Aquina had black hair with tints of purple in it. Her eyes were green and she had very dark skin. "C’mon, I’ll bring you to some shelter," said Aquina. Venus took her hand and followed her down the street.

As soon as he stood up, he knew something was wrong. The first thing he realized was that he was human. He ran his long fingers through his light brown hair. He touched his face and felt flesh. He wore worn-out jeans and a platinum black shirt. His eyes were a deep shade of green. Where was he? His eyes darted back and forth around the alley he was in. He knew it was raining and the strange thing was, was that he liked the rain. It seemed to refresh him.
His thoughts were soon drained when he saw two human females walking down the street together. He ran out to meet them and ask them where he was. Both females turned their heads to him. At once he noticed that one woman looked remarkably like Darkfire…
"Excuse me," he said politely. "Can you please tell me where I am?"
The girl with black hair was about to respond, but the redhead beside her walked up closer to him and studied him closely. "Megatron?" she whispered. He was a little stunned at first that she knew his name, but he nodded. She smiled slightly and he did as well.
The two of them stood smiling at one another. The girl with black hair was dumbfounded at how they knew each other. "Venus, who is this guy?" she asked.
Venus blushed and replied, "His name is…Zowa." Megatron stared at her with a confused look.
"Zowa?" he mouthed to her.
"Sorry," she mouthed back.
"What city are you both from?" asked Aquina.
"Um…" Venus searched around until she saw a newspaper lying on the ground with the headline: Strange Things Happen at Benalaiz. "We’re from…Benalaiz," she said finally.
"Really?" Aquina said, seeming quite interested. "I’ve heard wonderful stories about that city. What’s it like? And how did you two end up in Demlak?"
"Demlak?" Zowa said confused.
"That’s the city we’re in now," muttered Venus. He nodded. "Well, Benalaiz is a really peaceful and hardly anything bad happens there."
"Yeah, those are the same things I hear all the time here. No one ever attacks the Benalaizians. But here in Demlak, we’re always being attacked."
"By whom?"
Aquina heaved a heavy sigh. "The Galaboks," she replied. "It’s this evil race of robotic creatures from a planet called Elekcon. They tear down buildings and sometimes even kill civilians. We have our best fighters fighting them usually. They found out about the human race and the possible idea of destroying our race a few years ago, so now they take pleasure to killing everyone. But they haven’t found Benalaiz yet, thank the heavens. That’s where most everybody’s going nowadays. We’ve all got a feeling that the Galaboks are gonna be attacking any day now. The leader of them is called Ishnal and his second-in-command is Baldoc. Both of them are ruthless."
Venus and Zowa gulped. These new beings were probably more advanced in fighting than they were. But they weren’t even robots anymore so it didn’t matter.
"Do they do drafts here?" Venus asked.
"Drafts?" repeated Aquina. "You mean for soldiers?"
"Yeah."
"Sure, follow me."
Both Zowa and Venus followed after Aquina down the street. The rain stopped on their way to a tall building flashing the words: "Draft Signups." When they crossed the threshold to the building, the scent of fresh flowers was in the air. Venus closed her eyes in bliss as she walked forward. Zowa merely looked around the room and saw two young women at the sign in counter.
"Excuse us, we’d like to sign up as soldiers," he said with a smile. One of the girls looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"Could you wait a moment?" she replied in a rich British accent. The girl had platinum black hair and dark purple eyes. She was wearing everyday clothes. She went to go talk with her partner. The other girl had long platinum blonde hair and ocean blue eyes.
Venus seemed to remember the girl’s voice when she had spoken. "Megs!" she whispered in his ear. "It’s Blackfire and Angel!"
"It is?" he croaked.
"Yes!" she hissed. "Um…Miss, what is your name?" she asked.
The girl with black hair turned around swiftly. "It’s Melana," she answered. "And this is Angelana."
"Ha, I was right!" cheered Venus.
"Excuse me?" Melana snarled.
"Mel, c’mon, don’t you remember your own sister?"
It took a few moments for that piece of information to seep in. "D-Darkfire?" she gasped.
Venus smiled grimly. Angelana and Melana gaped at their sister. Zowa was completely ignoring them. Aquina had wondered off in the other direction to look at brochures.
"And this is…?" Melana began pointing to Zowa.
"Yes, it’s me, Miss Fire," sighed Zowa exasperatedly.
"But…how…do you know how we got here?"
"Not in the slightest."
"Well, up, follow me and I’ll bring you to the Air Force pilot." She led them through a long hallway until they reached the bay where the planes and jets were stored. "This is Jaime Flyman," Melana introduced. "He’s the Air Force pilot."
The man called Jaime turned around and smiled at Zowa and Venus. He had a young face of someone of about 23. He had gray eyes and dark brown hair. "Hi," he greeted shaking their hands. "So…who’s drafting as an Air Forcer?"
"That would be me," Venus replied.
"Can you fly one of these babies?"
"Hey, would I be signin’ up if I didn’t?"
Jaime chuckled. "Oh, so you’ve got humor?" he said with a grin. "Well, take a look at this new beauty that I’ve been polishing up." He stepped aside to reveal a jet-black plane with missile holders and a small cockpit for the pilot.
"Ooh, this is such a smooth device," said Venus in awe. "What’s her name?"
"I named her Martial. We used to have thousands of martial eagles fly down here from other places, but since the Galaboks started attacking, them eagles haven’t been seen for ages. And what about you?" he said turning to Zowa. "What’re you here for?"
"I’m here for ground control," Zowa replied.
"Then you wanna go see Tye," said Jaime.
"Tye?" repeated Zowa.
"Well, his real name is Tymophio Merdes, but we just call him Tye for short."
Zowa nodded somewhat confusedly and left. "Nice guy you got there," commented Jaime to Venus.
She crossed her arms over her chest. "Yep," she replied. "So, you got a girlfriend?"
"That’s personal, miss…?"
"Venus, my name’s Venus."
"And your last name?"
"Oh…it’s…um…"
"You forgot your last name?" he said sarcastically.
"No!" she snapped. "It’s…O’Connell."
"Oh, so you’re Irish, eh?"
"Um…yeah, I am."
"And what’s your friend’s name?"
"Zowa Henderson."
"Okay Venus, if you can fly Martial with expertise, then she’s yours."
"Really?" she gasped.
"Really."
"Cool! Which planes do Melana and Angelana fly?"
"Oh, Meteor is Angelana’s and Pistol is Melana’s."
"And what about yours?"
"Well, she’s supposed to be a secret, but since you asked…" He led her into a dark room and flipped the switch. A large jet plane with streamlined colors and nice handling was the treasure to behold. Venus was amazed at the plane’s beauty.
"What’s her name?" she asked.
"I named her Streamline," Jaime replied. He suddenly checked his watch. "Oops, gotta go. Akita’s waiting and I can’t be late."
"Whoa, who’s Akita?"
The young man sighed. "She’s my girlfriend, okay?" he snapped with a grin.
"Oh, so you do have a girlfriend." It was more of a statement.
"Yes, I do, happy now?"
"Yep." They both laughed.
"Well, it was a pleasure meeting you Venus. I hope we can become good friends while we fight side by side."
"Of course, sir." Jaime walked away leaving Venus to marvel at his plane. "I can guarantee that I’m gonna love this new job," she mumbled with excitement.
