The Beginning of the End

place a few days after Spider's Game. Also this is a different series, the
characters from my other series don’t appear in this series.
Things have been calm in the past three days. He just came back from scouting with Terrorsaur and was heading back to his room when he bumps into Megatron.
“Waspinator report.” The purple tyrant said as he picks Waspinator
off the floor.
“Waspinator anzz Terror-bot founzz nothing, Waspinator go nowzz.”
Waspinator buzzed as he went inside his room. Before the door closed behind him,
he heard Megatron say:
“Just what I expected from two morons like you. I would have been
better off sending a Maximal.” An evil grin spread across Waspinator’s face
as he made his way across the room.
“Good he still thinks I’m dumb. After I’m done with him he’s
going to wish that he never underestimated me.” Waspinator said to himself as
he took out a data disk and put it into the only console in the room and pushes
play. A blue and silver bot appear on the screen.
“Major Concave of the Lexicons reporting to Captain
Wight. You have been given the honor of making the Lexicons the new leaders of
Cybertron and the entire galaxy. Your mission is to get the Golden Disks and
bring them to me. To do this you must go undercover and infiltrate the
Predacons. Once inside join up with Megatron and his crew. There’ve been
rumors that Megatron is trying to steal the Golden Disks. We would steal it
ourselves, but we can’t be linked to it in anyway. That’s where Megatron
comes in. After Megatron steals the Golden Disks steal it from him.”
“That Golden Disks are very important to us.” A
Green and Grey robot said as he walked in the room and took a seat next to the
Major.
“Ah Professor Gulch glad you could make it.
Professor Gulch is here to tell you about the Golden Disks.”
“The Golden Disks contain inscriptions that are
supposed to lead to a major source of energon. With all that energon we would
have no problem taking over Cybertron.”
“We have stasis pods filled with our people on
Megatron’s ship the Darkside. They are under the floor in room R5. We paid one
of Megatron’s people to put them there. We also had him set the room up for
you. All of the equipment is undetectable. No worry we took care of that loose
end.” Major Concave said with a smile.
“Captain Wight we’ve done our part for the
Lexicons, now do yours. You have two stellar cycles to complete this mission.”
Professor Gulch said before the screen went blank. Waspinator took out the data
disk from the console and put it away. Now
the right moment to strike Waspinator thought to himself as he moved his
bed over and opened a secret hatch. When he opens the hatch it reveals a
staircase.
The staircase led to a little chamber fill with
consoles, animals, and two stasis pods. He walks over to the two stasis pod and
look at the names etched into them, Lieutenant Pious and Lieutenant Nard. You
shall be insects like me, but what kind?
Waspinator thought as he looks at the collection of insects he had in one of the corners of the chambers.
He finally decided to use a Common blue Butterfly and a Bumblebee. He takes the Common blue Butterfly in a compartment in Lieutenant Pious’ stasis pod. He then takes the Bumblebee and puts it in a similar compartment in Lieutenant Nard stasis pods. Stasis pods have two scanner modes. External scan and Internal scan. Most people program the stasis pods to use external scan, because hardly anyone knows about the internal scan. Internal scan works by the stasis pod just scanning what’s inside the Gradric compartment. It was simple as that.
Waspinator went to a console that was connected to both stasis pods and presses scan. He didn’t see the green light from the scanner washing over the animals and copying their forms, but he knew it was. He watches in awe as the computer finishes the process. A giant Butterfly came out of the first stasis pod and a giant Bee came out the other.
“My name is Captain Wight.” Waspinator said as he looks at his new troops.
“Lieutenant Pious and Lieutenant Nard of the Lexicons reporting sir.” They both said in union as they salute Waspinator (as best as they could in beast mode).
“My code name here is Waspinator. You two will also need code names.”
“Okay I’m Stinger.” Lieutenant Nard said.
“I am Byzantine.” Lieutenant Pious said.
“If you were wondering how to turn into your robot form say Terrorize.”
“Stinger Terrorize.” Stinger said as he transforms. His Bee head slid back to reveal a grey head with a yellow helmet with a point on top. The body of the Bee opens up to reveal his torso and arms. The body of the Bee slides down to form the legs of him. The stinger of his Bee mode along with his wings and legs form a camera. His only weapons were an assortment of throwing knifes and an energon sword. The yellow and black striped bot smile as he looked himself over.
“Byzantine terrorize.” Byzantine said as she transforms. Her body opens up and reveal most of her body. The Butterfly head slid forward and onto her chest to form part of her chest amour. Her wings stay on her back. Her weapons were a rifle, a penknife, and her laser-eyes. The blue and grey bot stood to attention for her orders.
“Listen up troops our first objective is to take out Megatron.” Waspinator said as looked over his troops.
“Yes sir.” They both said as they were taught to do when talking to a commanding officer.
“Royalty a stasis pod has been detected in Grid Hacker.” Inferno said as Megatron came into the control room.
“Good, I’m sending you and Scorponok to get it,” Megatron ordered.
“Yes Megatron. We will not fail you.” Scorponok said as he and Inferno both leave.
“Waspinator what do you want?” Megatron asked as Waspinator walks into the control room.
“To be the leader of the Predacons.” Waspinator said as he pulls out his dart gun and fires.
“YOU WON’T GET AWAY WITH THIS! Tarantulas, get in here and help me out.” Megatron yelled as dodges it.
Tarantulas was walking by the control room when Megatron called him. He was dumb-founded when he saw Waspinator fighting Megatron. He was going to engage Waspinator when he felt a tip of a knife behind him.
“Sorry this is not your fight. Just stay still and you won’t get hurt.” Stinger’s voice came from behind him.
“So you’ve got a friend.” Megatron said as he watches a yellow and black stripe bot holding a knife to the back of the Tarantulas.
“He’s not the only friend he got.” Byzantine said as she got up behind Megatron and used her Laser-eyes to blast him. The impact of the blast knocks him off his feet.
“Checkmate.” Waspinator said as he fires several shot at Megatron. All the shots connect. Megatron is barely online and trying to get up. Byzantine takes out her Rifle and shoots him twice. He goes completely offline from all the damage he’s taken.
“Dispose of this trash.” Waspinator said to Byzantine as he spat at Megatron.
Outside the base Cheetor watches as Byzantine brings what’s left of Megatron and throws it down a cliff.
“That’s that.” Byzantine said as she dusted off her hands and goes backs inside.
“Cheetor to base.”
“What is it Cheetor?” Airazor asked.
“I just saw a unknown pred coming out of the Predacons base with a bunch of Megatron parts.”
“Optimus said to come to base right away.”
“Okay I’ll been there in a while. I need to do something first.” Cheetor said as looks at the cliff where Megatron parts were threw off of.
“So what’re we going to do about the situation?” Rattrap asks as Optimus finished debriefing Cheetor.
“We don’t even know the whole situation Rattrap.”
“Only one person does and I don’t trust him.” Dinobot snarled as he eyes the CR chamber.
“We have no choice Dinobot. That new predacon Cheetor saw might not be the only new predacon. Plus we need to know who now in charge, so we can predict what they do next.” Optimus said as Rhinox walks into the room.
“What’re we going to do with him after he gives us the information we want.” Cheetor asked. He didn’t know why but he felt sorry for the tyrant.
“I say we scrap da big head.” Rattrap said as he pulls out his gun.
“I agree with the vermin, Megatron must be terminated.” Dinobot said.
“Now Dinobot let’s give Megatron a chance, just like we gave you.” Rhinox said.
“What, so we can have another charming personality around, no way we have enough of those.” Rattrap said as he backs away from Dinobot.
“What that supposed to mean vermin?”
“Enough all of you. We deal with Megatron as I see fit, when the time has come, but now is not the time. Rhinox let him out. Everyone be on your guard, we have no idea how Megatron going to act.” Optimus said as Rhinox opened the CR chamber. The CR door opened with a hiss. Inside the CR chamber Megatron just sat there with his head hung low.
“Is there anyone home?” Rattrap asks as he waves his hand in front of Megatron’s face.
“I’m not in the mood vermin, noooo. Megatron replies weakly.
“Megatron what happened to you?” Optimus ask as he helps Megatron out of the CR chamber.
“Waspinator, that’s what happened to me.”
“You mean bug face is in charge? All right, we got nothing to worry about.” Cheetor said as he high fives Rattrap.
“Do not underestimate Waspinator like I did. He’s much smarter than you think. How do you think he pulled one over me, over everyone. Waspinator’s like a new person, I never thought he was capable of what he did. I still don’t know where he found his two friends.” Megatron said as he begins to walks back and forth pondering the past events.
“You actually believe him?” Dinobot asked.
“Yes I do, Dinobot. Megatron, I want you to know that you welcome to join us.” Optimus said as he held his hand out.
“Join you so I can fight the good fight. I’ve no more will to fight. I have nothing to fight for.”
“I understand if you don’t want to fight, but you’re still welcome to live here.”
“I thank you Optimus. I’ll find a quarter now.” Megatron said as he strolls off to find a quarter.
“Umm big bot we got a problem!” Cheetor said as he glances at a computer monitor.
“What is it Cheetor?”
“We got incoming flyers!”
“How many?”
“Four of them and they coming in fast!”
“Rattrap, Dinobot, Cheetor you’re with me.” Optimus said as they got on the elevator.
“There they are.” Dinobot said as he pointed in the distant.
“Can you make out who they are lizard lips? Rattrap asks as he runs to a rock for cover.
“Terrorsaur, Waspinator and two newbies.”
“Let’s show those flyers we mean business.” Cheetor said as he opens fire on the incoming flyers.
“Engage the fools. Oh and remember kids have a good time.” Waspinator said as he pulls out his Dart gun and fires at Optimus.
“Will do cap.” Byzantine said as she dives and knocks Dinobot off his feet.
“Stinger terrorize.” Stinger said as he transforms in midair and falls towards the ground. As he’s falling he pulls out his Energon Sword.
“RATTRAP ABOVE YOU!” Cheetor yells as he rolls to the left to avoid two incoming shots from Terrorsaur.
“Why me?” Rattrap asks as he jumps backward to avoid Stinger’s sword from slicing him in two.
“You were underneath me that’s why.” Stinger responds as he takes five of his throwing knifes and throws it at Rattrap. Rattrap was caught off guard as the five blades hit him sending him tumbling backwards. Before Rattrap could get up Stinger lands an axe kick on Rattrap right shoulder.
“Get up.” Stinger said as he taps Rattrap with his foot.
“I can’t.”
“Get up infidel, the fight just begun.”
“I can’t barely move and you expect me to fight?”
“I would kill you, but there’d be no honor in it. You’re no warrior, but he is.” Stinger said as he walks toward Dinobot, who has just finished disabling Byzantine.
“What a pest.” Dinobot said as he wipes her mech fluid off his sword. Where did he get that sword? Stinger thought as he said:
“She can be at times, but she’s my pest.”
“So predacon scum you want a fight, you got it.”
“If I win you forfeit your sword.”
“Fine but if I win I get your life.”
“IF YOU WIN.” Stinger yell as he throws two of his blades at Dinobot. Dinobot reflects one blade off his sword and catches the other one in his hand.
“Nice blades, I use to have quite a collection.” Dinobot said as he studies the blade that he had caught.
“Got that from a friend.” Stinger said as runs up to Dinobot and delivers an uppercut to Dinobot head. As Dinobot staggers backward from the blow, Stinger grabs the blade Dinobot had caught and put it away. He then begins looking for the blades he forgot to pick up. “How could I’ve been so careless? There’s another one that makes nine. Now I’m missing one, where could it be?”
“It’s right here.” Dinobot said as he holds up the blade he had reflected.
“Give it back.”
“Come and get it.”
“So be it Maximal filth.” Stinger said as he charges Dinobot. Dinobot was ready this time. As Stinger came charging at Dinobot he throws his sword at Stringer feet. Dinobot sword gets tangle up with Stinger legs causing him to fall. As soon as Stinger fell Dinobot was upon him, hitting him with everything he got.
Elsewhere Optimus was in the air taking on Waspinator. Optimus just finished shooting Waspinator’s Dart gun out his hand with his wrist gun.
“Looks like you’re not doing a better job than Megatron, Waspinator.” Optimus said as he did a quick survey of the battlefield. Dinobot was faring well against a yellow and black striped bot. Cheetor was taking on Terrorsaur. A pretty bad damage Rattrap had joined him and with their combined firepower sent him hiding behind a rock.
“Rattrap this is Optimus, pull out and return to base. I’ll contact Tigatron and Rhinox to take over for you.”
“Alright boss money I’m pulling out now.” Rattrap said as he heads back to base.
“Now Waspinator this ends he…” Optimus said before Waspinator shoots him with his laser-eyes. The beam hits Optimus in the arm.
“Mess with a Wasp and you gonna get stung.” Waspinator laugh as he circles Optimus.
“Should have never taken my eyes off you.”
“You shouldn’t, but you did. Now the cat gonna pay.” Waspinator said with a smile.
“What Cheetor? No you can’t!”
“Terrorsaur only the cub their take him out. You should have no problem with Blackarachnia and Tarantulas backing you up. How could I’ve been so blind? Optimus thought to himself as he saw the two spiders come up from behind Cheetor.
“You see Optimus I am better than Megatron. All shall fall before me. Now enjoy the rest of the show.” Waspinator said as he holds Optimus head to see the scene that was about to unfold. Terrorsaur came out from his cover and took to the air and fire four shots at Cheetor. Cheetor rolls to the left and returns fire.
“Is that the best you got Terrorsaur?” Cheetor asks as he fires off two more shots at Terrorsaur.
“I wouldn’t be worrying about me.” Terrorsaur squawked as he saw Blackarachnia and Tarantulas coming up behind Cheetor.
“I would be worrying about us. Teeheehee.” Tarantulas said as he and Blackarachnia open fire with their machine guns at Cheetor.
“NNNOOOOO.” Optimus shouts as he watches in horror as Cheetor goes down. He breaks free of Waspinator’s grip and Shoots his wrist gun at Waspinator.
“Rattrap what happened to you?” Tigatron said as he helped Rattrap to the CR chamber.
“Fearless leader sent me back in. He wants you and big green to get out there.”
“Then let’s get a move on.” Rhinox said as he and Tigatron got on the elevator. As soon as they got outside they see Cheetor under attack.
“CHEETOR WE’RE COMING.” Rhinox yells as he fires his chain guns at the spiders.
“Terrorsaur we’re out of here, I suggest you do the same.” Blackarachnia said as she and Tarantulas transforms to beast mode and headed back to base.
“I join you guys in a minute I just going to give the kid a goodbye gift.” Terrorsaur said as he fires six shots at Cheetor with his shoulder cannons. The first two hit Cheetor the impacts of the shots taking off his left arm. Rhinox jumps in front of the next four shots shielding Cheetor from them. Tigatron snaps off a couple of shots at Terrorsaur.
“Waspinator I think it’s time to go.” Terrorsaur said as he swoops down from the air and picks up the off line Byzantine. He then begins to fly back to base.
“Sorry Optimus I wish I could stay, but I can’t.” Waspinator said as flies away laughing.
“Looks like all your playmates left.” Dinobot said as he parries to the left.
“But I still have you.” Stinger said as he jumps up in the air to avoid a slash and lands on Dinobot’s sword. He then kicks his head and jumps behind Dinobot bringing his sword in an arch that should have sliced Dinobot head off if he was there. When Dinobot was kicked he went with the force of the blow and did a flip that landed him behind Stinger.
“I’ve got you now punk.” Dinobot bragged, as he thrusts his sword into Stinger’s back. He withdraws his sword from Stinger’s back. He levels his sword with Stinger’s head ready to sever it, when Stinger lashes out with his sword. Dinobot blocks a blow from overhead, then picks another one off to his right.
“What’s the meaning of this I won.” Dinobot said as he blows two more blows. Optimus was on the ground now and was bringing Cheetor inside. Rhinox and Tigatron begin to make their way toward Dinobot as the two continued to fight.
“You didn’t win, you just wounded me.” Stringer said as he lands a kick to Dinobot’s midsection.
“Dinobot you need help?” Rhinox ask.
“No this is nothing I can’t handle.” Dinobot growled as he catches Stinger heel and throws him. Stringer landed with a thump.
“Dinobot this is Optimus, what’s taking you too long?” Optimus said in a serious voice.
“I’m coming in now.” Dinobot replied.
“Alright, you’re in charge. I’m going into the CR chamber now.”
“What’s wrong with Optimus?” Dinobot asked.
“Didn’t you hear, Cheetor was badly wounded.” Tigatron said.
“He was what!”
“Where’s the pred?” Rhinox said as he looks at the spot where Stinger was.
“Forget about him, tomorrow is another day.” Dinobot said as they begin to walk back to the Axalon.
“How’s Cheetor?” Tigatron asks as he walks in with Rhinox and Dinobot.
“He should be fine.” Airazor answered.
“I can’t wait until I get my hands on that wasp.” Tigatron said as he kicks the chair over.
“Calm down you’ll get your chance at him so enough.” Rhinox said as he withholds Tigatron. He never has seen Tigatron so mad.
“Guys we got a problem.” Airazor said as she checks the scanners.
“What is it?” Dinobot said as he walks over to where she was working.
“You know that stasis pod that crashed, but we couldn’t go for it, since Optimus wanted all of us here in case the worst happens?”
“Yeah.”
“Looks like the Preds couldn’t get to it before the process was done.”
“How’s that bad?” Dinobot said as he taps his foot. He was growing impatient.
“Inferno and Scorponok are using the new maximal as target practice.”
“Name a place where we could intercept them.”
“Sector Omega, coordinates 5,6.”
“Come on Tigatron, let vent that anger of yours.” Dinobot said as he got on the elevator.
“Let’s hope we’re not too late.” Tigatron said as he thought about all the things that had happened today. I will not fail again. Dinobot seemed to be reading what was on Tigatron’s mind.
“No worries we won’t. Now hurry up we’ve got to save the day.”
“I’m coming.” Tigatron said as he smiles for the first time that day.
