Spider's Plan

Tarnatulas held Carnage in a containment field in beast mode. He didn't want him to break loose. He laughed to himself, and sealed up his lair. He climbed up into the vents, and crawled around. He headed for the bridge, where he could listen in on Megatron. Waspinator and Inferno had been fixed. Terrorsaur was still in the CR chamber. Megatron was at the bridge, talking to Inferno and Waspinator. As for Scorponok, Black Arachnia was busy gathering the pieces, and heading towards the CR chamber. Tarantuas listened down on the conversation.

"So, this day was horrible," Megatron said, "First, you two are horribly defeated by the Maximals, and then, I lose Carnage? The end result: it was all a waste!"

"I am afraid so, royalty." Inferno said.

"Wazzpinator hatezz zztupid Maximalzz!" the bug said.

"I will not fail you the next time, royalty!" Inferno cried.

"No, I doubt you will," Megatron said. "Which is why I'm sending you to go retrieve the new stasis pod. Head for the lush jungle in grid Vega. Black Arachnia will accompany you."

Inferno saluted, "Yes, my queen!" He said, and left with Black Arachnia.

"I do wish he would stop calling me that." Megatron said. Waspinator flew away.

Tarantulas sighed, and crawled back to his lair. He quickly set his computer for the coordinates, and let Carnage out.

"Carnage," he said, "Go get that stasis pod. Bring it back to me."

Carnage reared up to his full height. "I will my master!"

Carnage flew out down a long dark tunnel, and went through a large shaft built for him. He blasted out a small hole in a mountain and flew. Meanwhile, Waspinator saw the thing.

"Wazzpinator seez big thing. Maybeee Maximalzz try to trick Wazzpinator." He shrugged and flew around the Darkside.

Meanwhile, the Maximals had seen the pod, too. They sent out Rhinox and AirRazor to go and save it.

"I only hope they make it in time." Optimus whispered to himself.

Inferno and Black Arachnia did not have to travel far. Inferno flew them over, even though it took slightly longer because of the extra weight. The two Predacons dropped to the ground, right in front of the pod. Black Arachnia headed over to it.

Air Razor was there pretty fast. And she saw Black Arachnia and Inferno. Even though Rhinox was behind her, she knew she had to engage them.

"Air Razor, Maximize!" she said, and transformed. Arming her wrist bolts, she launched 6 bolts into the arachnid, who was about to install a Pred chip. Inferno launched up, and went to engage AirRazor.

Meanwhile, Carnage flapped madly, as he approached the pod site. He saw Inferno and Air Razor battling in midair. Tarantulas saw it through the optics on his view screen.

"Destroy them both!" Tarantulas ordered.

Carnage nodded, and transformed in midair. He fired his shoulder cannons, knocking Inferno away from the fight.

Air Razor blasted Carnage several times, but, it was obvious she was afraid and surprised. Carnage seemed to laugh, almost like Inferno.

"You think you can hurt me, little birdie?" he asked, laughing. Air Razor fired madly, but Carnage just laughed. She turned and flew. Realizing he couldn't catch her, Carnage turned back to the pod. Far below, Rhinox was working on it.

"Scanning for suitable life forms." the stasis pod computer spoke.

"Yes!" Rhinox said, until he heard the loud landing. He turned around, and was met by a missile in the chest. He flew backwards, and was knocked down. Carnage headed for the pod, when he was hit by the chain guns of death. He turned around, roaring. He charged at Rhinox, sword raised high. A couple of animals ran behind the bushes. The DNA scan hit one.

"Adequate life form found. Running program.."

Carnage slashed Rhinox again and again, unaware that a boar leapt from the stasis pod. The boar lifted up and said...

"Stop, Predacon."

Carnage whirled around.

"Cyboar, Maximize!" he said, and got up on his feet. He pulled out a big gun, possibly a bazooka, and stuck it over his shoulder. He launched a huge missile at Carnage, and blew him all the way back to the Predacon base. Cyboar helped Rhinox up. The two converted to beast mode, and went back to the Axalon, with the pod to add to the others.

Tarantulas heard a crashing noise, as Carnage fell down through the hole, and rolled into the lair. Knowing Carnage had failed, he threw him back in the containment field.

"Don't worry," Tarantulas said with a sneer, "I still need you. You will not be destroyed."

Tarantulas sighed, and calmly went back to his duties.

"Next time," he told himself, "Next time."

The spider crawled out of his lair, and locked it up once more.
